About Biomia Aps
Biomia is a synthetic biology company developing a pipeline of plant-inspired natural products and new-to-nature small-molecule drug candidates. Biomia was founded in 2022 following the licensing of a patent-protected manufacturing platform invented by Biomia’s co-founders. Leveraging proprietary biosynthesis capabilities together with high throughput bioactivity testing and machine learning-guided virtual screening, Biomia is developing a drug discovery engine and manufacturing platform for novel lead small molecules addressing unmet needs in patients suffering from chronic pain, mental health disorders, and substance addiction.
We are seeking an analytical chemist to strengthen our team’s translational R&D activities, and further advance our vision & mission on the discovery and manufacturing of novel natural product-derived therapeutics. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing state-of-the-art workflow for small molecule analysis, with a focus on MS-based characterization of bioactive natural products. The analytical chemist will work closely together with the R&D team to advance the manufacturing platform and drive data generation for microbial engineering and drug discovery.
We are looking for a team member who values respectful collaboration and who seeks a job with a high level of personal agency. Together we walk-the-talk and get the job done to ultimately make a difference for patients.
